Problems with JAVA?

1. Google Chrome deactivates necessary function NPAPI

With the latest update to version 42 the Web-Browser Google Chrome has deactivated a necessary function -> NPAPI
This function is required to run JAVA within the browser and to use brodos.net

If you receive this message here this might be due to the reason that you have not installed JAVA at your PC at all (if so, please follow the instruction below to install JAVA),
or if you use Google Chrome with the latest version 42 (or higher) it might be related to the deactivation of the function NPAPI.

To enable the function NPAPI again please perform the following steps:
• Please enter the following in the URL bar of the browser: chrome://flags/#enable-npapi
• Click the Enable link for the Enable NPAPI configuration option
• Click the Relaunch button that now appears at the bottom of the configuration page.

You may need to re-start your browser once you enabled the function again.

If you have not installed JAVA on your PC so far please follow the steps below.
Please download Java software and install it on your PC.
